When the cotton picker is working in the field, if the cotton picking head is blocked due to excessive moisture in the cotton, or due to picking up debris such as branches, drip irrigation tapes, iron wires, and large soil clods, it should be stopped in time to check the cause of the failure, and start after cleaning the blockage. The remote control of the locomotive is combined with the cotton head to check whether the blockage is completely cleared, and then put into operation. Never combine the power of the cotton picking head, and run the engine at a high speed with a large throttle to forcibly "rush through" the blockage. This can lead to serious damage to the internal parts of the cotton head such as the toothpick clutch, picking spindle and doffer disc.
