Compared with ordinary plastic materials, casting polyurethane (CPU) has the following characteristics
1. Wide hardness range. It still has the elongation and resilience of rubber under high hardness. The hardness range of polyurethane plate is Shore A10-D80.
2, high strength. Their tear strength, tear strength and load bearing capacity are much higher than that of general purpose rubber under rubber hardness. At high hardness, its impact strength and bending strength are much higher than plastic.
3, wear. Its wear resistance is very outstanding, generally in the range of 0.01-0.10(cm3)/1.61km, about 3-5 times that of rubber.
4. Oil resistance. Polyurethane plate is a strong polar polymer compound, and non-polar mineral oil has a small affinity, in the fuel oil and mechanical oil is almost not corroded.
5, good oxygen resistance and ozone performance.
6, good vibration absorption performance, can do vibration reduction, buffer effect. In the mold manufacturing industry, replace rubber and spring.
7, with good low temperature performance.
8, radiation resistance. Polyurethane has good resistance to high-energy rays, and still has satisfactory performance at 10-10 g radiation dose.
9, with good machining performance. (Turning, milling, grinding, drilling can be done)
